In Varna you can get rid of old furniture, mattresses and small amounts of rubble for free at the municipal drop-off site at ul. Perperikon 11, in Vladislav Varnenchik district. According to Varna Municipality, from 1 November 2026 it is open every day from 8:30 to 17:00 (break 13:00–13:30). If you have no car, leave up to 1.5 m³ next to the bins, but only on your district’s day.

Where is the drop-off site and when is it open?

The site is at ul. Perperikon 11, in the industrial zone of Vladislav Varnenchik district in the west of the city (see the map pin). The municipality’s notice, published by BTA on 23 October 2026, gives the winter hours from 1 November: Monday to Sunday, 8:30–17:00, with a break 13:00–13:30. Phone: 052/820-809. Handing in household waste is free, and you sort it yourself into the containers provided. A van or a taxi with a big boot helps; see taxis and getting around.

How do I report overflowing containers?

The municipality’s official channel is the online form at signal.varna.bg: give your name, phone and e-mail, the location and a description, and attach photos (pdf, jpg or png, up to 7 MB each). On 26 October 2026, Nova Varna reported that a family cleaned up waste left around the containers at bul. Slivnitsa 187 themselves; the resident said earlier complaints had brought no reaction, and other residents post similar cases in the Facebook group “Сигнали до Община Варна”, which is not an official municipal channel.

More everyday basics are in everyday essentials in Varna and Varna in winter. Hours and rules are as of 2026-10; check the phone line before a long trip.
